Briton Ferry Library

A LIBRARY threatened with closure is being brought back to life thanks to community support.

Briton Ferry Library, a listed building, has been earmarked for closure by Neath Port Talbot Council in order to save cash.

But members of the community have stepped forward to create a charity incorporated organisation.

A special coffee morning has now been held in a bid to bring the supporters together. A First World War exhibition has also been launched at the iconic building.
